Applications are now being accepted for the 12th annual Cidetec Awards, which aim to promote scientific research, technological development and innovation across all types of electrochemical technologies.
The award in the category of Scientific Research will recognise the most outstanding research in electrochemistry carried out in recent years. The Young Investigator Award will recognise the best researcher in electrochemistry in the 35 -and-younger age range. The award recipients will receive a diploma as well as a €4,000 and €2,000 cash prize, respectively.
The jury, formed by leading electrochemistry experts, will evaluate nominations in the category of Scientific Research according to scientific quality in aspects related to research innovation, the relevance of research results, and industrial applicability. Candidates in the Young Researchers category will be based on quality standards in scientific production, CV excellence and contribution to the advancement of electrochemistry.
The names of the winners of this year’s Cidetec Awards will be announced on 30 April 2016 and the awards will be presented at a ceremony to be held in July 2016 to coincide with the XXXVII Meeting of the Electrochemistry Group of the Royal Spanish Society of Chemistry. The deadline for submission of applications is 15 February 2016.
